Not to be “THAT GUY” Awesome Miss Ms. Mrs. Dr. Shirt but I think “necromancy” is incorrect. Necromancy describes a government that still functions under the laws and rules of a dead ruler. The term I had always heard for North Korea was thanatocracy — when the nominal head of state is literally a dead person. Hell yeah, I can use that as a part of my next dnd campaign. But isn’t this what all countries do, operate under the rules of dead leaders? If you’d be into that, then Gideon the Ninth is one example I’d strongly recommend! An idea I’ve had in mind for a long time for a D&D game. The King is assassinated. The crown passes to his heir on the Canadian side.
Awesome Miss Ms. Mrs. Dr. Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, And Hoodie

A few years later, someone Awesome Miss Ms. Mrs. Dr. Shirts casts a resurrection spell, and the assassinated king is back. Who gets to be king? The original king says the crown passes if he’s dead, but he isn’t anymore. The current king says the crown passes on the king’s death, which already happened regardless of whether he’s back or not. What happens if no one can agree on who gets the crown? Civil war? Does that mean nothing he enacted can be overruled because he’s still technically in charge? Or is it just BS? Just BS. It’s essentially a propaganda thing. The Bible says the rule for Persian kings was that a king’s edict could not be overturned by anyone.
