If we added UBI with no changes at all to welfare we’re creating too much of a welfare state for people to want lower-income jobs and thus lock some people out of climbing the ladder.  I’m good for now. I really like his freedom dividend idea tho and the goal of trying to get people off government assistance. But that dividend would do wonders for those less fortunate than me in Illinois. I like the idea of a blanket financial support plan for all Americans, it will get people out of paper-pushing oversight jobs and into the public economy producing GDP output instead of wasting taxpayer money.
