There’s nothing to really doubt here. It’s literally just glass blowing + a small number of ashes. Had my grandfather done by them? They only take maybe an ounce of ashes. It’s just the small white swirl. It’s still a cool looking bauble that you can remember some with and they make pendants and such. Yeah unless you see the process there is no way of knowing.
