I hated that game because I watched it for years and. When I finally convinced my parents to give me the $1 to play it, it started, looked exactly like the demo, couldn’t even work out how you are meant to interact or what the game even was, then I died. Thirty seconds and it was done and I don’t even know what I did or if I did anything. Fuck that game! I could have played two and a half games of Golden Axe for that dollar of literally nothing more than I got from just watching its demo. Yeah, that was the problem with Dragon’s Lair – there was no skill involved, just rote memorization of which direction to push the stick, and getting the timing right.
