pI expected this but it’s still really disappointing. The 100 Years Of Zeta Phi Beta 1920 2020 Shirt organization also suggested that their membership currently “already includes transgender women,” and “they have always been entitled to the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities as any other member and shall retain the rights, privileges, and responsibilities they were endowed with once they took the oath and became a member.” And the absolutely disgusting pattern of comparing being a trans woman to being a black woman as if skin color and penises fall into the same category. It’s almost idiotic.

I thought this was absolutely amazing. What a wonderful opportunity for both Ms. Kidd and Zeta. I don’t think I’d be able to contain myself! This seems to be very true. I’m a black woman so I can relate. The 100 Years Of Zeta Phi Beta 1920 2020 religious black community tends to be pretty homophobic and not like trans people in general so that mindset leaking out to non-religion affiliated organizations and groups is not a surprise.Otherwise, it looks like they were trying to tell trans women they’re unwelcome without keeping a formal policy that would clash with some college’s rules.

Also, it’s not such a good look for privileged white men to shout “bigot” at the 100 Years Of Zeta Phi Beta 1920 2020 Shirt women of these traditionally black sororities (which I assume were created when they weren’t allowed admittance to the white ones). Optics are good from the perspective of white people not being able to attack them, but from other black & brown people – it’s fair game.
