I think the Official Peace love Dr Pepper Shirt. The personal legacy of MJ and Prince are (temporarily, IMO) outshining the musical legacy. U2 as well, Bono’s ego is bigger than any hit they’ve had in recent memory. GNR, lol, Axel. The personalities are all too fresh (or current) to appreciate the music alone. As a 40-something, I have to strongly disagree with this comment. It was normal to the point of being required for different groups of kids to like some styles of music and absolutely hate on other styles. So YES – any artist or group who was popular in the ’80s had some group of teens who trashed them endlessly and thought them a total waste.
