Came here to mention this park! Dinosaur Valley was one of my favorite parks to visit. Our college’s Astronomy Club had monthly star parties there for a while. That’s exactly what we found too, went back the next week, could I find them again! Eventually after about 2 hours there they were though, so face saved. I did manage to find the “sunken” ones quite quickly though, once you realize the rock pools are in staggered “walking” patterns, LGBT T-rex Dinosaur Lesboasaurus Rex Shirt. There is something strangely exciting about it isn’t there. Just being able to touch something real like this. I cannot explain it, but it was thrilling to be able to place my hand on a fossil footprint from an animal that actually walked at that exact spot millions of years ago. I love to go to secluded natural environments. But I’m no geologist nor can I recognize small details like this that would make me realize “oh shit these are dinosaur prints.” That is some crazy stuff, what a world we live in.
