What the hell causes these situations? People like this aren’t actually reacting to anything happening around them (after a stint as a Starbucks barista in 99% certain of this). She showed up ready to rage in whatever way she’d least likely face consequences for.

Yup, I totally think you’re right in this. I’ve worked in a grocery store. When Dunkin Donuts Just Drink It Shirt from the moment they walked through the doors.
